Chloé Sabourin is a visual artist based in Montreal. She works mainly with acrylic paint, using it in many different ways, from very fluid layers to thicker textures, along with oil sticks and mixed media. She enjoys experimenting with tools and materials to create artworks where different gestures and textures blend together softly, subtly, and harmoniously.
Nature is a constant source of inspiration for her. She is moved by its ability to change, adapt, pull back when the environment is no longer supportive, and return when conditions improve. The idea that nature can “dim” when it is out of place resonates deeply with her, serving as a metaphor for our own cycles and transformations.
Her work highlights the quiet beauty found in calmness, nuances, and the small details we often forget to notice. Through her paintings, Chloé creates soothing spaces where softness, light, and simplicity invite viewers to slow down, reconnect, and appreciate the little things. Her artistic world is a blend of contemplation, visual poetry, and authenticity.
